What power does the Incinolet need?
A dedicated 20 amp circuit. Choose 120 V at about 2000 W or 240 V at about 3500 W.
How many people can it support full time?
120 V model is about 4 people, 240 V model is about 6 people.
Does it use water or need a septic system?
No. It incinerates waste using electric heat and vents outside.
Do I need a bowl liner every time?
Yes, for every use. New units include one box of 200 liners. Bowl Liners can be purchased here.
How long is a cycle and can I use it during the cycle?
Heater runs about 60 to 75 minutes, the blower continues 20 to 40 minutes to cool. You can use it any time during a cycle, then press Start again.
How much electricity per cycle?
About 1.5 to 2.0 kWh per full cycle. Example at $0.20 per kWh is roughly $0.30 to $0.40 per cycle.
What can go in the toilet?
Human waste, toilet paper, and tampons. Do not burn trash or food. Use a liner each time.
How do I vent it?
Horizontal or vertical to outdoors, end with a dryer flap or rain cap. If total run is over 10 feet or uses more than two elbows, increase to 6 inch pipe, 15 feet max. Do not vent into an attic or crawl space.
Will there be odours?
Little to none with correct venting and by starting a cycle after each use. Overloading or poor venting can cause odor.
What happens during a power outage?
If a cycle stops mid-burn you may notice smoke or odour. Open a window. When power returns the fan restarts to cool the unit.
How often do I empty the ash and how do I dispose of it?
Empty when ash is light in color or no more than 2 inches deep. Dispose of cooled ash in household trash per local rules. Do not use it as fertilizer.
Can I run it from solar or a generator?
Technically yes, but we don't advise it. If your system supplies the continuous wattage on a dedicated 20 A circuit. Plan around 1.5 to 2.0 kWh per cycle.
Where can I install it and what clearances are needed?
Cabins, basements, bunkies, boats, RVs, and more. Allow room on the right side to operate the pedal and follow the manual’s clearance notes.
What is the warranty?
3 years on toilets having regular use and maintenance.
Do you offer pickup?
Pickup is available from our Beamsville showroom or our warehouse terminal, stock dependent.
Is Incinolet approved in my area?
Although CSA approved, requirements vary by province and municipality. Treat it as an electrical appliance install and check with your local Authority Having Jurisdiction and a licensed electrician. diction and a licensed electrician.

This OEM boot covers the push-button start switch, helps shield the button during everyday use, and is reinstalled whenever the top is removed for service. The manual notes the top is secured with four screws and this rubber boot over the start button; remove them to lift the top, then replace the boot during reassembly. Serial numbers are not required.
